I beleive art is healing.when I draw I relax. I'm happy when a doodle is finished. Then I start a new one.no frustrations.this active relax recently is my main summer "spare-time"activity.Just pencils and paper.Taken everywhere.

#19 William Morris + inchies

hello!
finally i took the plunge to post some old doodles.as you see i got stuck somewhere at challenge 19 .
i still have some little drawings in atc format to show but it seams that time is not on my side.as we travel a lot in summer time to places where the virtual world is totally absent i always find difficult the coming backs.
beside these things i dedicate my little spare time to paper mache right now.it is good to have at least two hobbies you can jump form one to another when felling bored or overwhelmed.i'm having the paper period but as i start commenting again means that i am attracted slowly back to the black side of the moon ,lol.i'm exited then by the wide and various artistic material my tentacles reaches and my appetite groves again for taking the pencil instead of the paper pulp.
meanwhile i've opened an etsy shop ,finished a commissioned paper mache mirror -click here-or -here-and about 12 pairs of earrings, one bracelet,4 mini woodland creatures and started to paint a pm bowl.
that being said here are my little contributions:

see you, have a wonderful summer time!

mooka challenge

Laura Harms's last week challenge was to try out a new official tangle called Mooka.as i noticed everybody loved mooking around, including myself even if i was a bit distracted by my paper beads.i fancy some and had to make a few-click here if you wish to see them-,plus i have a paper mache mirror commissioned work so i had less time for doodling.i couldn't resist mooka,it is my type of tangle i like as it swirls and tangles around,so here are my doodles-the first one a very fast "real" doodle i was talking while i made it, and a second one that got printed and colored also(not contented about the color choose though)...
all the bests and thanks for stopping by!

my nr. 14 and nr. 15

of course responses to Laura Harms weekly challenge. see here how i walk the line and love my curves.initially i felt sorry for adding colors to nr15th challenge but then i begun to like the little round stegosaurus.although i seldom use lines in my doodles still i had a lapse followed by on ooups when i traced the first line on the curvy  challenge.corrected.still if i'm very exacting i can say i failed the challenge,lol...

and another thing.i wasn't really satisfied with my line walk either, even had a moment when i asked myself "what ,can't you trace a straight line with your exercised hand ? however what i loved was the "lettuce" inspiration.see the middle part -spiral with triangles( ch.nr14),i made it spontaneously well.then i wanted to repeat but didn't succeeded... maybe another time,i found that very very challenging :).nature is a colossal source of inspiration and kitchen is the place where magic happens isn't it?look what i found before i made a lettuce soup about three days ago...don't ask me,we run out of that soup already :)

have a nice evening!

challenge nr 13

Laura Harms challenge this week was to use our non-dominant(left in my case) hand to draw a zentangle or zia(zentangle inspired art)I'm pretty sure everybody(or at least the most of us) felt the relief when made a new doodle with the exercised hand.it was hard i must say and quite sad by the end of my drawing...you'll see why.
after the strings were done i quickly made that closed eye face then filled up the spaces with different tangle patterns and colored it using just a few colors blue-green and orange(red for the cheeks)..at the end it seamed to me that i drew a geisha in traditional like costume flying...then i added the legs and completed the drawing entitled "flying geisha"...then cold shivers went through my spine...Gosh,i said that's it...geisha flying to God...i didn't meant to but that's what it became....challenge nr 13...sending my prayer for them...silently...
thank you for your visit

i had to come back..just to resolve a mistake i made typing to fast the hyperlink to Laura's blog...instead of iamthedivaczt.blogspot.com i wrote iamthedivaczt.blogpsot.com ,just for curiosity check out what i've found...

"something Blue"

week nr 12th challange is calling for a touch of blue..no problem with that,i love blue!
well, once again i had to smile reaching  the end of my little doodling.i never know what the string broughts to me ,shapes are getting "sense" during the doodle "process"...no struggling for a gorgeous outcome, lol.it is spontanious and that's why i love it! please beleive me i wouldn't have otherwise draw those big brests,lol...however they are beautiful in there voluptuousness and who doesn't love round forms ;)

now meet her,my molett mermaid lady in her way home, carrying goodies for the little ones...

made it yesterday on a dark blue card i've got as a present from Helene in our atcs trade(standard atc size, gel pen and soft watercolor pencils).

thanks for stopping by,

challange nr.10 and 11

last night i recovered the missing diva's challange nr 10.called "the space between",didn't excelled to leave too much space though, lol but i'm not complaining about the result, quite like it.
used Sandra's "woggle" pattern over the empty (still shaded)spaces,a very beautiful celtic knot type pattern i like v much, aslo "sparks",Jane Monks "scrumble","crescent moon","florz"(i think) and i can't name the rest.

and here it comes challange nr 11 "monotangle",that was fun,lol...how i chosen from Sandra's 1056 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!tangle pattern list,lol....i was telling the "abc" in my thoughts and put my son to stop me..i reached letter "F".there were 79 tangels beginning with letter "F".so this time i just told him to choose a number between 1 and 79.his choise was 15,meaning Fenêtre -- Amaryllis Creations /Genevieve Crabe .so i googled the link and i meet Genevieve's tangle...what a relief, now i could go further.made my string and filled up with her tangle.at the end looked like a pregnant woman to me so i couldn't resist to put her "endings".thank's Genevieve,it was for sure unexpected fun...

all the bests friends,

"HEART" challange

i just loved these weeks theme.a "heart" zt with our heart for little Artoo who has been so ill...and i loved to see healhing hearts flying to Canada along with your best thoughts.here's my late contribution.
used orbs + blind string to form a heart shape.
still will google about how to make a transparent orb and hopfully will learn how to pencil shade it correctly.i thought maybe someone of you would take charge and show me the way but i know it is too much what i'm asking.still if you have a good link for me please just write to me.thanks in advance :)
all the bests for all of you with my whole heart :)

challange nr.7 "BREATH"

...Wednesday i had an awful day.my little one was ill,40C fever combined with diarrhea.he was grumpy and hang on me like a fruit all day.untill the doctor came i made everything possible to reduce fever but it only came down to 38 than raised again.i wiped his legs, arms with a dump towel and tried to reduce the pain with constant massages...things weren't going better midnight so i used the prescribed antibiotic and waited the results...he responded positivly and the fever decreased slowly up to a normaler (37.7)value.

at this point it was already 2 after midnight and i took the pen and paper to relax.i really needed that.made my strings and looked at it with empty, tired eyes, totally uninspired.but i still wanted the relax.closed my eye and waited untill a known or unknow pattern will pop in naturally.took a deep breath and something happened.i saw a pattern which became the "leit motif" of my tile...every time i felt like i don't know how to continue i just closed my eye and breath.i didn't tried to personalize breath thorugh patterns i just breath and relax myself....yet what i couldn't make it was to smile.
the first picture below is the original, untouched version, made that night,at poor lighting.
the next day when my baby was much better i just added a bit of deep to the tile while today edited (gradually tinted by pc),printed and added highlights with the white gel roll pen.
this is the story of my breath.relax.smile tile...
wish you all the bests..

.
bw i just love sandra's "Pindo" and Margaret's "Diamond Panes".the rest is my minds turmix,lol...
there are four words hidden in the zt ,have you found them?...good luck then ;)

Ixorus

fruitful yesterday.
a zen mandala and one zentangel tile as my response to Laura's challange called "Ixorus".
this week i wanted to stay untouched by the charm of your tiles and promise myself not to peak at anyone's ixorus before i draw mine but i just couln't walk away playing the "blind".this is about my "resistence".same to sweets...but i only saw 3 tiles and commented 3 times.it is forgivable isn't it?
