failed challenge

i was looking around for some inspiration and i saw over at Mr.T's that there are two themes that i could and would approach "curls" and "birds of a feather".for the first step having curls in my mind i made quickly the outer lines with  success if i do not report a single straight line out of control.. then i just let my pencil take charge.it even appeared one bird of a feather still there are to many things that are not related to the feathery theme,mushrooms,fish,boots...so i can't link my doodle the bird theme nor to the curls because of those spikes that had to be there while i was doodling,lol......double failure.still i remained with a light(?) doodle that i like.just another weed of my mind :)
 i made a little boost in picassa using the orton-ish function and added a white contour.

                                              ps.i can't find those 8 inches of this fruitful summer ;)

very late Creative Thursday

i didn't managed to post it in time ,it wasn' t ready and now that's finished i don't like it at all.
like the idea but not the way i colored it.it is too much,not transparent and overloaded.plus the scanner did not picked well the colors,maybe later i will change the image but now i hear an open call from the family that sounds like enouuuugh
anyway thanks for watching,maybe next time i will be able to be ready...but i can't promise.

doodle gift tag #3

today i was too tired for a passive relax-if you can imagine that- so it became an active one.
this is how this gift tag nr.3 was born.yesterday we celebrated our elder sons birthday with a "latino"party- pinata,salsa,balloons and stuffs so i really needed a brake.Friday we were invited at a party-so i made my first pinata and yesterday i saw my second pinata beaten up to bits,lol.this was quite exciting for the kids as we don't have this habit and it become the highlight of the evenings, unexpected and so much loved by them.
believe me some people were coming out from the shops to see better what's that bold,big and colorful stuff we were proudly taken to the "long"walk.i hope to put some images to my other blog next week but i already cannot find the first pinata's pictures...now i'm showing you today's active relax result.

doodle gift tag #2

i must run...this week we have a superb concert .we are playing Bernstein,Tchaikovski selections form Swan Lake,Oneghin,Strauss etc so i must be earlier there and being this week the second violins chef i have to do my best.still i'm here lol...here the second gift tag,tomorrow some paint stain figures...

upcycled gift tag into doodle gift tag

i think i got bored coiling (this is what i've been doing lately in my spare time) and rolling paper so today i continued my eco-friendly activity by upcycling a cardboard gift tag.it always feels so good when come back to my first love-doodling! ... three steps and ready!...thanks for watching!

                               step 3 was to glue a piece of white paper on the cardboard
                                                       and the finished gift tag :

                                    sealed with mod podge then a mat acrylic spray varnish.
                                           note:-the hanger is also a recyled gift wrap paper

Show and Tell Saturday #15

this week's review ...a bunch of new doodle postcards that was so much fun to do....i almost forgot how happy doodling makes me.all my doodles are happy this week.the first one presented is actually the latest that was born yesterday.i'll show the process later with a new post.
this first one showed has a little story to tell if you haven't guessed already,lol....

two little elves were fighting over a giant shell where the rain was locked by a spell.you can see that only black drops were falling from the clouds.in their great struggle they didn't observed the big ripe pepper rolling between them.they also were absent to a funny heat dangerous crocodile approach.the red hair fairy who came out unsuspected from that big pepper was lucky to snatch it from their greedy hands and save the day and the days are coming form now on.

doodle postcard III

because i always love seeing the creation process especially in art works but as well regarding garden and home projects i thought i'll add a few pictures to show you the way i play with lines and formes.
this is  my ordinary way of doodling only that i borrowed the string from the zentangle.so the base is the string and the rest is added step by step as the doodle develops.in my first colored doodles the core is commonly a face or a form that is growing chaotic by adding other forms or patterns.

                                    the result entitled "the bubble escapes"(i just missed to draw the eye of the whale)

and the process:

material used:300gsm fabriano watercolor paper,watercolor pencil,marker.

atc "relax" and "aquahome"

yesterday aceo's."relax" made entirely by pen and marker,while "aquahome" has a little pencil here there.
i think i go blind if i countinue to much with this standard size,lol. filling is a meticulous job,i think it would go faster making a bigger size :)

yesterday doodles

yesterday night i fancy the watercolor pencils and i thought i may give a try to use them making a few atc's.
i must say that i'm not satisfied with the results,even cuted out the backgrounds of two of the cards and finally give up the wonderful pencils i didn't experienced before for some regular markers and just made my "regular" doodles that  were flowing naturally form the pencil. i thought it is easyer to make atc's but it is not.or i'm not at that level,lol...

the last atc is dedicated for Artoo, Laura Harm's baby who struggles with a bad cold in a hospital. i was thinking of him all the time and insted of the "heart" zt for this week challange i came up with this little doodled atc.i wish him all the bests,and strengt to his parents when there's nothing worse than you're ill baby....

"who cares about the floor?"

summer is over i can't beleive it,we had no spring (it was v cold)and a rainy summer wich ended up...i'm soooo sad,it's dark outside i fill like we have fallen into a hole and i can find sunshine only in my doodles... as you can notice a little ice has been lodged in my heart.and ice cubes are fallen in my head somebody pull me out pleeease!!!i just hope the yellow will not be eaten by one of our dogs or something ...i'm sure i'll fill better at the first ray of light but just now it is like and i don't like it at all....and i don't care about the floor,lol p

this is just for fun.i liked the contrast.anyway it's closer to my mood then the first one,lol.that falling balloon-hrad guy most be me... i should get those giant boots and walk ahead no matter what's the weather,lol

captured parasute flowers colored

printed and colored version of one of the doodles.not very satisfied with the colors but i liked the background.the outline of the doodle came out too bulk but I didn't wanted to color the original though it is made on an ordinary notebook page :)
